Direct Relationship Kuva/Missouri Botanical Garden Cafe Peru Chilchos (M/D)
Kuva Coffee Company, in partnership with the William L. Brown Center at Missouri Botanical Garden, proudly offer Cafe Peru Chilchos - an environmentally and economically sustainable, direct relationship coffee grown under shade, without artificial fertilizers or chemicals. Kuva Coffee Company and the William L. Brown Center, along with INBIAPeru, a Peruvia NGO, have collaborated to form the Chachapoya Biocommunity Network and have set up the Huayabamba Conservation Corridor. Within the corridor, small producers grow high quality conservation coffee and cocoa. Because they earn more than twice the regular world market price for these products, they can produce less, which limits stress on the environment. This approach markedly improves the farmers' economic situation as is helps to preserve the regions flora and fauna. An exotic and vibrant balance of body, flavor and acidity with a superb aroma and a soft finish.
